Thanks, MLK Jr

I asked Gwen if she knew who Martin Luther King was, and she replied "You mean, Martin Luther King Junior?".  She went on to explain that MLK Jr made everything fair.  You see, before like on the bus, the front of the bus had lots of space... was cool... had lots of windows but only the light skinned people could sit in the front and the dark skinned people had to sit in the back.  And the back was really crowded... was really hot... and was just not as good.  But, Martin Luther King Jr made it so that anyone could sit wherever they wanted and it was fair.  But the people who made the rules didn't like that so they shot him and now he's dead.

Well, thanks to MLK Jr, we now have fairness for all and a 3 day weekend.  This holiday weekend, we made an unprecedented second trip to the snow.  The Heidersbachs graciously invited us to crash with them at their Northstar rental for a couple of nights so the girls enjoyed tubing, ice skating and just playing in the snow in the backyard.  Scott and Jenny were amazed at how talkative Gwen was with them and the girls became big fans of Larry.
