Whitney Turns 8!

Whitney chose a puppy party for her 8th birthday!  So, we started off the party with some real live dogs to play with, then moved into crafts (puppy sticker mosaics and decorating goody bags), Gwen led some of the girls in hand knitting, then pizza, cake, pinata and a puppy movie (Beethoven's 2nd).  3 1/2 hours later, the girls had taken over every part of the downstairs and backyard before the majority of girls adopted a stuffed puppy and went home, leaving Sophia (Whitney's latest BFF) for a sleepover.   The next day, I said to her "Whitney, you're 8!" in which she replied "Ugh, don't remind me!  I hate getting old!"
