My Mini Marlin

Today was picture day for Gwen's swim team, the Marlins.  So, swim practice was cancelled (to Gwen's dismay as she just advanced to Level 2 at the end of practice yesterday).  To make up for it, she got to eat 2 snowcones.

Gwen has made strides as a swimmer here in her 2nd week of practice.  She can swim at least half the length of the pool face-down and can swim what seems like forever on her back.  More excited is that she loves it, which is a far cry from last year when she refused to participate in lessons.
