More Firsts

What a week of firsts!  2 days after Gwen started her first day at Rheem Elementary, she had her first pep rally (or as they call it, a Spirit Assembly) with the whole school seated in their little gym (or as they call it, the Multi-Purpose Room).  Ah, the nostalgia!   Go Roadrunners (sub Braves, Patriots and Huskies for my childhood mascots)!

She also got her first set of soccer gear for her first outdoor soccer league!  We got her some new cleats, shin guards, soccer shorts and socks - all in pink and black!

Paige has a bunch of firsts this weekend, too.  She had her first trip to the zoo which was followed by her sitting up and playing unassisted for the first time!

And here is Paige sitting up and playing all by herself!  My big girl!

And Whitney had her first visit to her new classroom at the Nurtury.  This was just a classroom visit to meet her new teachers, Miss Jennifer and Miss Jamie.  However, when we got there, Whit told me "I want you to leave!".  A far cry from last year's tears and clingyness!

And finally, while technically not her first, Whitney built a very elaborate Magna-Tile structure this weekend.  It may be the first time I noticed a budding architect in the making!
