The Hostess with the Mostest

While killing time at the Dollar store earlier this week, which was littered with Easter paraphernalia, Gwen and I got the idea to throw an Easter Egg hunt in our backyard for Whitney and her friends.  Gwen played hostess - she stuffed the 100 plastic eggs with candy, rings, erasers, hair clips and other tchotchkes and took charge of hiding all the eggs.  She was very excited to host her very first party.  Although, at the end of the day, she told me that she prefers being a party participant rather than a host - yet another way she takes after her daddy, not her mommy!
