20 month update

Paige is 20 months old!  Look at how big she is!  At 36 inches tall, she is off the charts for height (and tall enough to go on some rides by herself at six flags...) and 90th percentile for weight at just over 28 lbs.

She is a happy, friendly little girl who loves to smile at people and says hi to everyone she sees.  Of my three girls, she is the most opinionated about what she wears - from her clothes and shoes to her jackets and hair clips.  She almost never cries - except when she wants candy and you won't give it to her.  She just doesn't understand WHY she can't have more candy.

She's has a lot to say and is very vocal, but hasn't quite figured out the whole talking thing yet.  She has just a handful of words - MOM!, up, hi, bye, yes, wa-wa (water), juice, more, bed, out, baby, boo-boo and probably some more that she's saying in Chinese that I'm not picking up on.  She doesn't say 'no' (which was one of Gwen's first words), but instead goes "uh-uh" when she's turning you down.

She always bops to the beat when music comes on, is very sweet and always has a sweet smile on her face, even when she is hitting she sister with full force.  She has a bouncy little run, loves to go out and will run to the shoe closet to put on her shoes if she suspects someone is leaving the house, will eat almost anything, has no problem being dropped off at day care or left with sitters but doesn't like going to sleep.  She has stopped crying for 45 minutes at bedtime, but usually puts up a little bit of a struggle.  Her bedtime is 9pm, up around 7:30 or 8am with a 1-2 nap in the afternoon.

I can't believe this little sweetheart is turning 2 soon.  I think she'll grow into my most outgoing little girl, probably our latest to read, and hopefully our most obedient, tidy and easy!
