Never Fear, the Koplans are Here!

Halloween 2013 seemed to go by in a flash.  We had another year of Halloween traditions - dressing in theme (this year as Superheros), a party at the Cains, the Rheem Halloween parade, trick-or-treating at Rheem shopping center and a night of trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.  We added a new tradition this year - taking Gwen to Fright Fest at Six Flags.  While it's not recommended for children under 13, Gwen loved it - the scarier the better.  This, after all, is the girl who loved World War Z and has already asked to be a zombie for Halloween next year.

With our backyard still under construction, we weren't able to host a pre-TOTing dinner like we did last year.  Instead, we headed to the Mahers for dinner and TOT-ed our way up to the turning point, the court at the top of the hill that always has a fire pit and hot apple cider waiting.  Even though the Maher's house is way closer to our final destination, the night was equally exhausting and the kids seemed to have collected a record amount of candy!
