Last year's Christmas was so successful, we replicated it almost in its entirety this year. 2 years in a row - I think we officially have a new tradition. On Christmas morning, the kids wake up to discover what Santa has left them and busily litter the family room with wrapping paper and boxes. After a Christmas morning brunch, we're off to Walnut Creek for ice skating followed by the traditional Christmas dinner of Hibachi cooked steak at Benihanas! Christmas just like Jesus would have celebrated.
It was a very American Girl Christmas in the Koplan family (following a very Pokemon Hannukah). Gwen also scored a new skateboard (which she's already pretty good on) and Paige will be trying out some wheels of her own with a new pair of roller skates.
