It wouldn't be fall without soccer! This year, the big girls cut ties with LYMA soccer as Whitney played for Lamorinda Soccer Club and Gwen decided to give volleyball a try instead. But never fear, we still have little Paige to represent the Koplan family in our rec league. Adam coached Paige's team (although was missing on team photo day) along with T Gafni and Christian Eirich. Paige also proved to be our best Kindy soccer player yet! Although she probably cared the least about it, Paige was a consistent scorer, making 3 goals in 1 quarter during 1 game (and then subsequently being DONE for the rest of the game).
Whitney made it through her 1st season of competitive U9 soccer - kicking and screaming most of time but showing off some impressive ball handling skills. And although she fights it, she has made some great friends on the team.
