Our first Thanksgiving in Vegas! We visited my parents new house in Henderson - what a treat to have great weather and an easy, short flight. We visited the strip, hit some buffets, went to Bonnie Springs Ranch for horseback riding in a cowboy town, played pickleball and saw 2 Vegas shows (The Ultimate Variety Show and Xavier Mortimer). The kids got to spend time with their cousins and we all got to play a lot of pickleball.
Thanksgiving dinner was a fusion of traditional Thanksgiving fare (turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes) and Chinese compliments (rice noodles, shrimp, and bbq pork) - just like when I was a kid!
