Gwen loved spending time with her grandparents. She was on her best behavior all weekend and was content to just be in the same room with them, even when my mom was working on her computer or my dad was asleep on the couch.

We took my parents for a hike on the reservoir trail. While we brought a stroller, Whitney refused to sit in it and walked the whole way to the playground. That's quite a walk for two little legs. After playing on the playground for a while and having a picnic lunch, we decided to rent a boat and explore the reservoir while grandpa once again fell asleep on a nearby bench.
We ended the weekend by taking advantage of extra adults in the house - Adam and I snuck out after the kids were in bed to catch a late showing of Horrible Bosses. The movie wasn't very good, but that was okay, because we weren't playing $12-16/hour to see it!
