Koplan Disney trip 2013!

This year's Disneyland trip was marked by:

1 - Paige's first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.  Here she is about to get on her first ride (the Ariel ride).

She could take or leave the rides, but she would wave and dance to the parades and loved roaming around Bear County.

Paige was a great sport, sitting mostly in her stroller as we navigated the park.  So, when we let her roam free in Bear Country, she toddled along happily, exploring the fake trees and grabbing onto to the legs of random passer-byers.

2 - Gwen, who went on the Ariel ride 10 times last year, is now so over the kiddie rides.  She went on California Screaming over and over - it was her favorite thing in the park followed by Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and other thrill rides.

Gwen was fearless with rides, yet ran out of the Bugs Life 3D movie screaming.  We didn't make it through the movie the first time, but she immediately wanted to try again and conquer her fears.  She did make it to the end the 2nd time, although could be found hiding under her seat at times.

3 - Whitney is still scared by roller coasters, getting freaked out by the Toon Town roller coaster.  She did love California Soaring and, of course, the Ariel ride.  However, when we asked her what her favorite part of the trip was, she replied "eating a big lollipop".

But she also loved meeting Belle - her current favorite princess.

And, while waiting for the parade to start one evening, she cuddled up to nice woman from Idaho (who was there with her 5 kids and numerous grandkids) and ended up joining their family.  What is it about Disneyland that causes my kids to lose their stranger anxiety?
