Paige just turned 18 months old! She's still a sweetie pie, but now is a little less easy since she knows what she wants and has the means to get it. She can often be found navigating my iPhone and holding it up to hear while having a conversation with Siri. She still loves shoes, loves baby dolls, toothbrushes, drinks a ton of water and loves nothing more than to go outside (partly b/c we keep her cooped up way too much and partly because it gives her an excuse to put on shoes). Once I tried to just take her out into the front yard barefoot, and she screamed her head off, wriggled out of my arms, ran inside... and emerged with a matching pair of crocs.
She's still not saying much, but she is quick to reply "hi" with a sweet smile, wave goodbye vehemently when someone is leaving and gives kisses like nobody's business. She also screams "MOM! MOM! MOOOOMMM!!" all the time and I swear you can not tell if it's her or Whitney when she does. They both are always yelling for me in the exact same tone, and it sounds so big girl-esque, we always think it's Whitney calling. Other than that, her other words are still very cute and baby-like and include "up!" "dada" "mama" "baba" (for baby) and "bup" or "eh" for everything else.
What she lacks in verbal ability, she more than makes up with physical ability. She runs in full sprint all over the place (and has the skinned knees to prove it), climbs stairs with ease, jumps, gallops, dances, rolls a ball back and forth to you, and kicks a soccer ball like a pro.
