Camp Koplan

Koplan's first camping trip!  We tested the waters with a 1-night trip at the Chabot Family Campgrounds.  For better or for worse, it was one of the hottest days of the summers - a wildfire in Napa made it pretty smoky out and it was a little too hot to do any real hiking, but it made for a nice warm night.  It was great to see the kids fully entertained with just dirt, sticks and a passing lizard here and there.  I'm not rushing out to buy a bunch of camping gear, but overall, I'd say it was a successful trip.  The kids loved it for sure!
