Summer of Swim

Koplans switched it up this year and moved over from our little band of misfits CCC team to the bigger, bolder MCC team.  The girls enjoyed the hot tub and snack shack, but Gwen missed being a Marlin.  With an integrated tennis program and golf camps, MCC was our home away from home this summer.  The girls swam pretty well, with Whitney, as down as down years can get this summer, eeking out a bronze time in backstroke at OMPA.  Gwen started out strong, with bronzes all around and a silver in freestyle in her down year at the first meet of the season.  She had some kind of MCC curse on her the rest of the summer (but came back with a vengeance at the fall swim meets!).  Paige swam in her first swim meet and did great - she's one to watch!
