Pretty in Pink

For Gwen's 6th birthday, she requested an "Aurora party".  With a December birthday, this meant preparing for possibly the most fearful birthday combination - A dozen kids.  Indoors.  In my home. Needing entertainment.  This would mean cleaning, decorating, planning, leading activities...

But, thanks to a captivating Aurora from Fire Pixie and bags full of foam tiaras, wands and stickers, the party was a success!

The girls started out decorating their own foam tiaras and wands while we waited for everyone to arrive.

And then, Princess Aurora herself arrived!  She put on a puppet show, a great interactive magic show, and then did some elaborate face painting.

Once the girls were all decked out in their fancy dresses, with tiaras, wands and painted faces, we sat down to a tea party and, of course, a very pink cake!

Happy Birthday, Princess Gwen!  I can't believe you are six years old!
