Mother's Day

Let the May festivities begin!  Mother's Day 2015 started with brunch at Artisan Bistro where the Koplan kids were the youngest patrons.  When Paige saw Adam getting dressed up, she cried "Oh no!  That's what you wear when you go out and Kathryn (our babysitter) comes over."  Lucky for her, she got to join us this time.

Later that day, Adam took Gwen to the San Francisco Ballet.  They got to sit front row center, go backstage to meet the dancers and snack on chocolate covered strawberries during intermission.  Gwen is going to be a tough woman to please one day.

While they were in the city, I took Whitney and Paige to Rheem to ride bikes/tricycles.  Whitney had a biking breakthrough with me the day before and now loves to ride her bike.  Afterwards, we went to the Chabot museum and then a pit stop at 7-11.  They went from eating brunch at the nicest restaurant in Lamorinda to eating convenience store nachos and slurpees on the ground in front of 7-11.  These two might not be so hard to please.

That night when I was putting her down, Whitney declared that it was the best Mother's Day ever.
