Weekends these days are filled with birthday parties, playdates and trips to kid-friendly fun lands like Six Flags (where we have certainly gotten our money's worth from our season passes).

Over the past couple of weeks, we celebrated two good friends Clara Cecchin and Danielle Lee's birthdays as well as a classmate of Gwen's named Sarah.  With all the kids's social events to keep track of, we sadly missed Molly Herrington's birthday due to me thinking it was on Sunday and not Saturday.  

Clara's birthday party was at a real live ranch right here in Lafayette.

Another go-to place for weekend entertainment around here is Six Flags.   Gwen especially loves the rides - the scarier the better for her!

Whitney plopping herself down to stare at a fish that was taking a rest
on the tank floor.  That's such a Whitney position, laying on her stomach
resting her face in her hands. "The big fish is sleeping" explains Whit.

I wanted Whitney to look at the camera, so she turned her head but
would not take her eyes off the sharks swimming above.
