Multiplier

I thought Gwen was naturally good at math - it's something we never taught her or worked with her much (not like Adam and his obsession with her reading skills!).  She somehow figured out how to add and subtract, but those are generally easy concepts.  However, last night, we were at the Heidersbachs and Scott asked Gwen what 3 x 2 was.  I interjected "we haven't taught her how to multiply", but then Gwen thought about it for a second and replied "6"!  Ok, lucky guess?  But then, he asked her what 3 x 3 was.  She looked up, thinking, and then said "9?".  I about fell over.
