We kicked of the weekend with one of many dinner playdates with Jordan. The girls were able to spend most their time outside Friday evening while Darcy kept me company inside while I made dinner. Krystal, our 10 year old next door neighbor, wandered over too and the girls love hanging out with a big girl. Even after Jordan left, Krystal stayed and played with Gwen until it was her bedtime giving mommy and daddy a chance to relax!
On Saturday, we took Blue for a hike with us on the Lafayette Reservoir Trail, starting at the trail head down the street from our house. Rather than take the paved road, we walked the hilly path to the playground with Gwen walking almost the whole thing herself.
Later that day, I took Gwen to her friend Lucas' birthday party at Pump It Up. Gwen immediately took off, running between the different jumpy houses with Lola and Lucas close behind her. Gwen worked up quite a sweat!

On Sunday, we started the day with 2 bday parties for Gwen and a trip to Fuddruckers.
In the evening, we had our neighbors the Lees and the Heidersbachs over for a BBQ. We have dinner often with the Lees and Heidersbachs so this was the summer BBQ season kick-off! Although the chicken ignited into flames on the grill, they still came out pretty yummy!
