Halloween Weekend pt 1

Halloween weekend was finally upon us and we've had plenty of build-up to the big day!  On Saturday, the day before Halloween, we started with a party at Gwen's other preschool, Growing Tree.  There, we saw Jordan, Gracie and Yovella, who was wearing the same costume as Whitney.  Gwen played some Halloween games and won a little Halloween whistle that she loved blowing.  Whitney got a couple of Halloween stickers - she always wants us to put stickers on the back of the hands like Gwen does, but then she proceeds to rip them off and eat them.

After the party, it was back home for lunch and Whitney's nap.  I got in a quick nap too and I guess Adam couldn't stay awake either and fell asleep on the couch while Gwen watched Word World.  Gwen was the only one awake at one point - that girl never gets tired.  At 2, Gwen walked in my room and said "Mommy, it's birthday party time!" so I got her dressed and ready to go to her classmate Caroline's 4th birthday party.   It was a gymnastics party held at her gym and a bunch of her friends from her little Nurtury class were there.

When we got back, it was fun with megablocks, dinner, playtime and bed - and tomorrow is Halloween!
