Gwen's actual birthday was on a Thursday, which meant no school and spending the entire day at home with her little sister. Whitney must have known it was Gwen's birthday, because she agreed to play dress-up! For the last few months, Gwen's love of princess dress-up has increased each day while Whitney's distaste for dress-up has also increased. Gwen always asks Whitney - "Whit, Whit, do you want to wear this princess dress??" and Whitney says "No!" or "No thank you!"
Well, on Gwen's birthday, Whitney made a rare exception to this rule which delighted Gwen to no end.
Later that evening, we celebrated with cake once again - Gwen's favorite part of birthdays!
