In our quest for indoor activities for the kids this rainy winter, we headed to the Chabot museum in Oakland. Upon arriving, the kids both took off running and laughing through the museum, just screaming for joy. Clearly, we need to get them out more often.

| Whitney running at full sprint in circles around the exhibits |
There was one exhibit that Whitney liked (it had these balls that the kids can throw down a big funnel). Kids had to stand on one of many stools in order to see it. When Whitney went to check it out, all the stools were taken. So, she looked around, saw another stool across the room, went over, picked it up, carried it back, stumbling a bit along the way (stools are heavy and awkward for one year olds to carry) and set it down in front of the funnel exhibit and climbed up. She's so resourceful!
