This past weekend, I did the unheard of - went shopping in the city with my girlfriends Eva and Christine while Adam stayed home with the kids! While I was out, Adam called to tell me about the girls' first ever real conversation (other than the typical Gwen asking Whit a question and Whit replying "yes" or "no").
I guess Whitney had run up to Gwen with her palms up in the air and said "Jie Jie, where Mama?" and Gwen replied to her "At the store"! It would have been perfect if Whit had then done her quite common reply of "Ooooohhhhh", but alas.
When I returned home, Whitney ran past me to Gwen who was in the other room saying "Look! Jie-Jie Look!" as she was pointing to me.
